Re: News from WWII Online
i have seen it. There is as of late again development.
They are also addressing the lag on the ground and adding more things.
Maybe with the steam release it will see in increase of players.
Last time i tried it like 6-7 months ago the air war was allmost abscent

Re: News from WWII Online
I last played it over a year ago found the same lack of air war.
I think this is a step in the right direction as it gives the air forces a decent chance of providing effective CAS. Which means better co-ordination with ground and then forces the other side to put up fighters to counter the CAS, and then fighters to counter the fighters etc etc..Which equals better air war, albeit at low alt and just over the target areas.
I see they are on various crowd funding drives, and with steam release, I hope it continues to develop.

Re: News from WWII Online
i think it came 4 years to late for most people
if they would have put the resources of that seperate shooter game ( forgot the name ) in the game itself we would allready have had this develepment a lot sooner

Re: News from WWII Online
It's a step in the right direction, but it's taken far too long for them to get around to it - unless it takes 16 years to glue a flak gun to a half track, and make some guns for already existing aircraft.
I think at this point it's too late for WW2OL as is, unless they get a lot of money from Steam and such (at which point they'd be better off starting from scratch with WWIIOL II rather than updating the old one, as it's still a genre that isn't explored by anything else, unless you count flight sims with controllable tanks.)
But good luck to them.
