Scrambled together with speedy from our airfield and headed towards dover area as lots of enemy activity was reported there.

when we arrived at area reports came from inbound raid at high altitude. We climbed towards 27k feet and kept partoling manston - folkstone area. 1 more squadron of spits also arrived in the area.

Several contacts were found at deal area at 25k. we saw 2 or 3 109's and engaged offensive.

1 109 split from the ground and we followed it down damaging it several times. speedy broke to fight of another 109 that was arriving and also reported several hits on him.
After spending all ammo I had to beak the engagement and head home. the 109 smoking black and white.

Stats are wonky at the moment, so will have to wait and see what the score is.

It's worth adding, that after scoring a few hits on my contact. His buddy arrived so I couldn't stay around to see if he was properly damaged. I didn't fancy taking on two over the sea east of Dover with not many spits left.

looks like speedy got a kill assist and the one i damaged made it back to France
