04 November, Spring Chicken
Chased a FW190 20 miles behind enemy lines on the deck, everyone died, was a pretty stupid thing to do, will do better next time.
Decided to screen a town from a red square, got bounced by 7 sausage guzzlers, everyone died, was a pretty stupid thing to do, will do better next time.
Decided to trust some bluetags and lead them to said town with 7 sausage guzzlers, ran into about 10 - 12 sausage guzzlers, all the bluetags either went completely quiet or buggered off in their usual useless fashion, everyone died, was a pretty stupid thing to do, will do better next time.
Shot down some 109s and 190s, not that anyone really cares because it's not magical laa-di-daa RDP bombing, also everyone died, so not the best of nights all in all, pretty stupid thing to do, will do better next time.
I'm off to listen to Adagio in G Minor and murder a cat, or whatever Skip was on about (seems a bit wierd but that's what Skip is into I guess!)
Suppose it would be boring if it was easy!
The game I mean, not murdering cats, I cannot as yet comment on the latter...
In closing, stay away from the deck - stay away from red squares (under 25,000 feet or under 4 Pilots) - stay away from bluetags.
Bluetags on the deck in red squares are right out.

Re: 04 November, Spring Chicken
the evening was rather meh
that one chase you had on the deck i tried to help but was quickly swarmed myself and shot down little after you. I did manage to get them off your six for a very short time . did not shoot them down but made 2 190 s smoke heavily

Thanks Hink.
I did get that one that was on your six when we were turning on the deck, but then I died about half a second later, if that makes you feel better about sacrificing yourself to try to rescue us.

Re: 04 November, Spring Chicken
On the first sortie, prior to the chase, we had been tooling around at 15-20K for what seems like 10-15 mins and saw naff all. We then see a lone contact lower and eagerly dive down to engage something/anything. So I think we can forgive ourselves our moment of madness just this once.
As for Barcaping the route of an incoming red square, I see that as taking one for a ungrateful team. We dragged all the huns down to deck level, thereby removing their alt advantage over the target area. Shame the bluetags around us ignored our plight.
Besides aren't spit 9s supposed to be fast in a dive?

Amazingly fast Speedy, the best Spitfire in the game that you could possibly want in a dive.
Just not as fast as them geezers what we is fighting.
