This one I shall call "Do the Albert Ball thing!"

I figured 'Do the Albert Ball thing' was an easier way to communicate it mid-battle rather than 'rotate your Lewis Gun about the mounting so that you may engage the enemy two-seater from inside the observer's blind spot located underneath the tail of the aircraft, thus removing the threat from his defensive fire, allowing you to take steady aim at the vital areas of his machine.'

There's me thinking the 'Albert Ball Thing' was a new fangled dance the kids are doing these days.
I haven't actually tried the 'thing' yet, what key command is it?

not sure I think I had to map it specifically - its called Raise Lewis Gun I think.
MJ wheres the video? I was looking forward to seeing my stall turn attack position you were so critical about.

For me I mapped the Lewis rotate to my Hat Switch (Hat Up is rotate gun, Hat Down is cock guns) I've also mapped a seperate trigger for all forward guns, and top wing gun, so when the gun is in the down position I can press the main trigger (as when it's down it counts as a forward facing gun) to fire it along with the Vickers mounted infront of the cockpit, but when I rotate it up I can use the second trigger to just fire that, so I don't waste any Vickers ammo.
There's also the other Albert Ball thing, which involves flying into a cloud and never being seen again - but I wouldn't recommend that one, as well as the Bruno Stachel thing, which Skip did at the end of his first sortie last night, and of course there's the Wedge Antilles thing, but I wouldn't recommend that in WWI Aircraft!

Monday probably, going home for the weekend.

We did some WW2OL first, captured a town - shot down loads of germans in a dashing way, then the server went down, so Skip and I went to test my RoF Server, which worked - after which he bossed me about from the back seat of my R.E.8, after which we got lost a bit, then flew under a Bridge, then Skip went to have some Scotch to put off losing his nerve for another sortie, after which we headed to Syndicate.

Wasn't sure if you wanted a proper video or a fancy video, so I did one just from my cockpit view as that's probably most useful.
(Yeah I know I use The Blue Max Soundtrack a lot, but it's hard to find music that lasts that long and goes with WWI Aviation, it was either that or Biggles! )

lol. I was unsure if he was a german or not until I flew past him (he had that funny blue and brown camouflage) so you can see as I start to turn on him (realising he's a bosche) he starts shooting at me, so I then click that its a 2 seater and perform my renowned 'skip' maneouvre where I go vertical, stall a little bit then drop behind him and below him, hammering at the gun to get it to come down so I can Albert Ball him.
See when Immelman does it, everyone says its a turn, but when I do it...
