Spitfire Friday
Philstyle from SoW has asked if we'd be able to fly some Spit IXs in DCS on Friday evenings as part of a co-op event that 362 Squadron have been running, Razy and I are keen, so I guess that leaves you Speedy seeing as Hinkel doesn't fly Spits.

Re: Spitfire Friday
Will it be every Friday? If so I'd be up for that.

Seems to be, at least Phil says it's regular.

Re: Spitfire Friday
A mod pack will be required for the missions, which you can download here:
The files should go in: C:\Users\*You*\Saved Games\DCS (or DCS.openbeta)
SHAEF Mod Pack
So we'll need Simple Radio set up as well.
Razy, we can do a test run on Thursday and also remember how to use the Spits properly (especially as it's a long range pre-invasion mission, so we don't want any more engine mishaps).

SHAEF Mod Pack
SHAEF is a DCS WW2 server built from the ground up to focus primarily on immersion in a realistic scenario. We employ the ‘serious fun’ concept, hopefully allowing pilots to experience as closely as possible the endeavours the real pilots had to face.
We currently run Allied only co-operative missions pre-Invasion during May, 1944.

R/T
R/T discipline and brevity must be maintained at all times. We use Simple Radio for all in-server communications.
Channel ‘A’ is for individual squadron R/T. Each squadron has their own frequency within Simple Radio.
Channel ‘B’ is for inter-squadron R/T. There will be occasions where 3-4 squadrons are using this same channel. This is where discipline must be at its highest. Any chat or banter will be heard by all and interrupt everyone’s experience. Please bear this in mind. Maintain RADIO SILENCE AT ALL TIMES, unless enemy are spotted of course and combat ensues!
Each squadron has their own Callsign. When using Channel ’B’, please pre-fix your transmissions with the relevant callsign to avoid confusion.
