Tempted to treat myself to a Mk IX...

Well, you'd have to treat yourself to a Tempest Mk.V, a P-51D, a P-47D, a P-38J and a load of German stuff as well.

It's also possibly not the most useful aircraft for multiplayer at the moment, as I think it's just the Finnish Server that uses it, and only then for the last 'week' of its campaign rotation thing (not sure how long it's been in the current phase though, unless it just goes on until the campaign finishes) - but saying that it is a very enjoyable aircraft to use when you can, and very useful as a fighter and a fighter bomber (presuming you're crazy enough ).
