vectored towards big raid inbound on fanbourough
as blenIVF suffered engine failure i switched it for a hurricane.
Met the raid just when going outbound just south of hastings. 4 109s escorting the bombers were spotted and i diverted back towards England but 109 had spotted me and engaged. Low on deck i was making evasive maneuvers when one of the ai 109 crashed into my plane causing the plane to loose its tail. crashed into sea just short on coastline and got rescued by asr
reporting loss of 1 hurricane
no pilots lost

I thought I'd made it clear we're too near the enemy...for pilots to go swanning around on their own!

As ever Hinkel, your timing is impeccable:
I commend your enthusiasm, but no more solo Hurricane or Spitfire patrols - I'll ask for another Blenhiem so you have a spare when you break the first one.
