patrol near island of wight.

As we were searching for the lone contact reported by ground control the group got spread out. Low on fuel and losing contact with lead section i turned for the island of wight in order to refuel.
Approaching the Island an inboud raid was reported inbound. I circled a bit to regroup when section leader ordered us to find the raid. Linked op with Red 4 p/o Razy we diverted toward selsy. Soon I saw the raid allready moving inland just west of selsy. Getting near the enemy I saw about 6 JU88 in formation with 1 or 2 stranglers allready engaged by 2-4 friendly hurricanes. 4 bombers were allready damaged and pooring out white smoke. I immedialty started my attack and put a 3 second burts in the most left bomber. After my attacked it left the formation and loosing altituede. Several more attacks were made on the formation until it was totally dispersed. My last attack was on a lone damaged junkers that i gave a final burst before searching for an airfield to land and refuel.
