Falcon BMS 4.33 is out
Apropos of nothing else going on around here (cough cough, apart from all the other stuff everyone is doing except me ahem), BMS have released Falcon 4.33.
It's a standalone installer (but you still need the original F4 disc I believe).
It's got Tonkas in it, with 6DOF clickable cockpits.
Thats all I have to say about that.

Might have to have a look at that then, and then try to remember what all the buttons do.
I also noticed that 'Dynamic Campaign' won the vote of the most wanted feature in a poll on the DCS forum, so it'll be interesting to see if they do one, and how it compares to the Falcon 4 Dynamic Campaign.

Re: Falcon BMS 4.33 is out
It's a little buggy, the TFR doesn't work (which is a shame for the Tornado) and the GR4's weapon suite of Storm Shadows aren't really correctly modelled, and they aren't much 'fun' either (being long range stand off weapons that are essentially 'type in the GPS coordinates, set it off and RTB')
but...
Someone on the BMS forum mentioned that original Tornado GR role of low level incursion followed by lofted iron bombs onto heavily SAM protected airfields...
which sounds like a lot of fun
They've also added the Harrier, although it's that naff US Marine one (the AV8B) with working nozzles, VSTOL and carrier ops.
No functional Typhoons cockpits yet though as far as I'm aware.

did someone mention tornados?..Ace!!
Low level attacks are the way to go. Is the runway denial bomb GP233 (or whatever) in there too?

I think they got banned under the Geneva convention Speedy
I've not had long enough to have a good look at the Tornado yet, the model is nice and the cockpit is pretty good as well.
Ah, but it would be nice to represent 19 Squadron (F) flying GR4's low level in an airfield denial role, wouldn't it!

Ah yes, with them being cluster bombs and such like.
Although, they did always seem slightly suicidal....'take this fancy bomb thing and fly straight and level over that heavily defended airfield, there's a good chap'

Don't worry, Speedy - you could always download the 1980s WW3 Map (presuming it's still around and works), then you can cluster bomb to your heart's delight - up until some Commie chucks a Nuclear Missile at you of course.

I guess next time the GR.4s should escort the F-16s.

Re: Falcon BMS 4.33 is out
Got fed up of having loads of SAMs thrown at me every time I tried to bomb anything near Cairo, so decided to give up with this laser guided business and do it the old fashioned way!

Jolly good show MJ.
While you're tooling around Egypt in your Gr4 I've been checking out the coast of northern France in a rather spiffing Mk IX spitfire. I've even stopped gouging holes in the runways now.

Being able to not gouge holes out of runways in a Spit IX is pretty much the equivalent of graduating from Top Gun, so good show.
