Sharpe Series!
Neither Skally, nor Hinkel are aware of the Sharpe, so here is the first episode (Sharpe's Rifles) and the second episode (Sharpe's Eagle) which are meant to go back to back anyway, I also recommend the books.
Should keep you entertained for a few hours anyway.
From back in the good old days when we used to shoot Frenchies!
Here's a somewhat rude teaser.
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhw...
And there's another 14 episodes after those 2.

Re: Sharpe Series!
good stuff MJ, I really used to enjoy those when they first came out. Must be early 90s?
As part of my 'stuff I haven't got time to do' collection, alongside spitfire models, software projects and playing the guitar, I bought, painted and sold a set of Napoleonic British Infantry. I don't wargame as such (god if I've not got time to paint them, how would I ever have time to play with them!?) but I enjoy sticking the little bastards together and painting them, and I make enough from selling them to buy more.
here's 6 of them (33rd Regiment of Foot I think)
and heres the full set of 40 odd.
took me about 6 months on and off.

Re: Sharpe Series!
Very nice, Skipper!
You manage to make that Spitfire you were doing yet?
I'm very tempted by this, I must say:

Though all that rigging!

Re: Sharpe Series!
well its completed but still sat on the shelf wearing 'airfix factory' grey. I'm not going to spoil it with a hairy stick paint job, so I'm waiting until I get an airbrush before I tackle the paint scheme.
Last year I painted up a Flames of War Late War British Army that I sold for about £200 to an american.
I'll find some pics out, I was pretty chuffed with the Shermans I painted...

Re: Sharpe Series!
Can't find the sherman pics.
heres a 25lbr.
Arty HQ
Arty Observation Post (with Universal Carrier)
Rifle Platoon
Piat, Sniper and Mortar sections!
I quite like doing these 15mm ones, less detail than the 28mm Napoleonics, but it still took me about 6 months to get them finished for sale.
I've just bought a box of 106 Brit Paras to do over the summer.

Just don't forget to make your Infantry lie down first.
