This award was given to all Allied units that took part in the defence of Dun - I think we're applicable for this award as our primary target on CAS Friday was in support of the defence of Dun - where we first bombed the enemy Forward Base - taking heavy casualties - then bombed the Bridge in town - keeping it destroyed and stopping enemy attempts to repair it, after which we attacked and destroyed Stenay Bridge to stop the German forces from attacking the Allied held west bank of Dun through a flank attack from the North - then continued to bomb the area until it was clear that the town had been retaken by our own ground forces and the FB destroyed.
