"Intruder Squadron" Filming
Now that 1.31 is here I reckon we might as well start filming the "Intruder Squadron" film I've been on about making, here's a general synopsis:
April 1941, Deep in Occupied France a lone Spitfire reconnaisance Fighter on a routine mission photographs the German held Le Bourget Airfield, containing a unit of new experimental enemy Fighters - which, if made operational could turn the tide of the Air war back into German hands.
In response, RAF Bomber Command sends out the Bostons of No. 19(i) Intruder Squadron, on a near suicidal low level attack mission to take out the enemy Aircraft before it's too late...
The scenes that can be filmed at the moment are:
Opening Flight
A Flight of 4 Bostons flying in close formation (Finger 4 preferably) over the sea - then crossing the coast and continuing to fly low at treetop height - whilst I film from closely behind in a C47.
This will likely be the hardest scene to film, mainly because it will require 4 Pilots not counting myself (3 might do, but I'd prefer to make it as good as possible) and they need to be able to fly in close formation at around 180 - 200mph (C47 speed) for 4 minutes non-stop (although I may be able to splice scenes together, but it still needs about 4 mins footage all together.)
If its too hard we might need to do it with autopilots on, although then they might run into a hill or two.
Also there needs to be a scene or two where the bombers fly over in formation and I record them from the ground and another where I take pot shots at them with a German AA gun.
Head on Attacks
This only needs 1 person apart from myself, firstly in a Boston, where they need to fly head on at my C-47, firing at me (but missing) - then again but with the Boston Pilot in a FW-190 instead (and even more emphasis on missing - or else I'll explode. )
After that is another tricky shot, need a Boston Pilot and a FW Pilot to fly right at eachother and crash into eachother infront of the camera - I imagine that would take a few takes.
Ending Scene
This is a bit of an odd one - and it might not work at all, but if it does it should be good.
I need one Infantry bloke (preferably in British HC Uniform, not sure if Dojo wears that as he's French - if not I'll use Squiffy) and a second player in a Morris.
Now the odd bit - the HC Officer needs to be on one side of the Airfield - pointing outwards, and the Morris on the other side - pointing outwards, then they need to walk backwards / reverse into the centre of the Airfield whilst I fly down in a C47 from above and crash into the middle of the AF, where hopefully the Officer and the Morris will have walked backwards near to eachoter by then.
(If this is too impossible, then instead it'll just be two HC Officers stood in the Airfield having a coversation, whilst I fly into them in a C47.)
I know it sounds random, but hopefully Dojo should be able to work out what it's about.
Also have ideas for other scenes, such as French Paras running out of a Bunker towards some parked FW-190s, a Boston strafing a FW-190 from behind as it tries to take off and a Boston crash landing in a field, but not realy finalized those ideas yet.
So basicly I need to know when we reckon we can do the filming, especially the first scene as that needs 4 people alltogether apart from me.

Heh, thanks Dezey.
Here are some artistic representations of a few of the scenes, to inspire you and the like:
