It's been a while since I last flew a Boston, and I felt a bit tense when seating it again. However as soon as the engines roared the tension disappeared, and I remembered what a lovely plane the Boston is.
And it seems the love worked both ways, because she got me safe home during several sorties.
Unfortunately my tailgunner was KIA.
I wrote his family and told them what a great hero he was, and ensured them that no matter what rumours they heard, there are no Germans at Ramsgate.
Not quite true, but you have to keep morale up don't you Very Happy

Good job everyone. It was a lot of fun. I think we took most our our air losses early on over target but when i logged Voodoo and co were happily bar capping and taking down lots of planes.
