Jokes and other funny stuff

A World War II pilot is reminiscing before school children about his days in the air force. (He has a thick accent, as he speaks.)

"In 1942," he says, "the situation was really tough. The Germans had a very strong air force. I remember, " he continues, "one day I was protecting the bombers and suddenly, out of the clouds, these fokkers appeared.

(At this point, several of the children giggle.)

"I looked up," he continues, "and right above me was one of them. I aimed at him and shot him down. They were swarming. I immediately realized that there was another fokker behind me."

At this instant the girls in the auditorium start to giggle and boys start to laugh. The teacher stands up and says, "I think I should point out that 'Fokker' was the name of the German-Dutch aircraft company."

"That's true," says the pilot, "but these fokkers were flying Messerschmidts."

One afternoon at 19 Squadron, three older pilots were walking across the ramp to their airplanes.

The first one said, "Windy, isn't it?"
The second one replied, "No, its Thursday."
The third one nodded his head and said, "Yeah, so am I. Lets go get a beer instead.”

As the WWII bomber pilot settled into his seat, he pulled out a .38 revolver and placed it on top of the instrument panel. Turning to the navigator, he asked, "Do you know what I use this for?"

The navigator replied timidly, "No, sir, what's it for?"

The pilot responded, "I use this on navigators who get me lost!"

The navigator proceeded to pull out a .45 and place it on his chart table.

The pilot asked, "What's that for?"

"To be honest sir," the navigator replied, "I'll know we're lost before you will."

Two AHC officers were discussing training:

"That guy over there is pretty good."

"Yes, but I have a feeling that we should look a little deeper into his personal background."

"Why do you say that?"

"After every shot, he carefully removes his fingerprints from the rifle..."
Shocked
