Spitfire Mark IV

This was the first prototype with a Griffon engine. It had a top speed of 470mph and was armed with 6 x 20mm cannon. It first flew on November the 27th 1941. The Mark IV later became the Mark XII.



Even Dezey could shoot stuff down with that!

Does it come with under wing blue flourescent lights too?

Lol, it would make a mess in game, but I bet those 6 hispanos make it have the roll rate of an Italian Cruise Ship.

Who needs to roll when you've got 6 20mm cannons?

Get all your aircraft in a line at 20k, set convergence to 300, dive towards enemy town, randomly fire in general direction of enemy, RTB.

Fraid not Dezey, if it were mine it would probably have £50 worth of random little photo-etched panels in the Cockpit that no one will ever see.

(Though I am working on a side-project at the moment - which lead to me cutting my finger open with a knife, which was fun. Wounded in the line of duty if you ask me, if this was the USAAF I'd get a medal!)
