nice clips, not so sure about the out of focus stuff at the start. hurts my eyes don't you know!

what happened with that first 109 bounce?

Think I was going too fast and was starting to lock up, but was trimmed up too much - so the nose rose too high, after which I had to 'jerk' it down, but went too far - so had to wait for the trim to go up a bit more, and after that I was trying to keep the guns on while at lock up speed by yanking the stick around.

He went down after the second attack though (at a guess a few rounds went in from the bottom as he was doing the roll, which smoked his engine and presumably got a few in the cockpit.)

And if you don't like the blurry title cards then we'll just have to hire a new projectionist.

This ones a bit vague, but I'm reliably informed that the 110 went down.

Also set fire to a Heinkel, but the cine film was damaged, figures!

I'd like to dedicate this first clip to Rebel Alliance X-Wing Pilot Wedge Antilles:





Despite the fact that in both of the above videos it seems that other Pilots went in for the kill (head on in the first vid and over my shoulder in the second vid) I was awarded the kills in both engagements - see kids, kill stealing doesn't pay!





Although I'd like to put that last kill down to my sneaking skills, I feel I must point out that the Pilot of the 109 had bailed out before the clip was taken - as he tried to turn with us, then did a split-s, leveled out and then hit the silk (despite the fact that neither of us had shot at him) but made the mistake of leaving his 109 flying along in a nice straight line.

Why a Luftwaffe Major would A - fly a 109E-1, and B - level out and bail out without even getting shot at, is beyond me. So much for the 'mighty' Luftwaffe Pilots!

I do like the idea that the very thought of fighting us forces them to bail out though!

Makes you wonder what it'd be like if they gave us a few of those quad cannon armed Spitfire Mk.Vcs!
