Greetings From Springbok territory
S! I am Marshmallo,
I have flown many axis planes whilst playing WW2 OL since October 2012, and would like to be assigned to the squadron.
I have flight experience, although it is mainly with flying the Axis lawnmowers.
Regards
Marshmallo
P.S. Yes in case you were wondering, i want to be the next Sailor Malan seeing were fellow countrymen a like

Re: Greetings From Springbok territory
Greetings, Marshmallo.
Thanks for your interest in 19 Squadron, we'd be more than happy to have the next Sailor Malan fly with us.
Our usual flying slots are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays between 20:00 and 23:00 BST (that's UTC +1), we're pretty close together on the latitudinal line, so I don't suppose the time difference will be much between us.
If you'd like to pop along to one of our squad nights (the next one is tonight) then you can have a fly about with us and we'll see about recruiting you.
I'm looking forward to meeting and flying with you, S!

Re: Greetings From Springbok territory
Welcome to the Squadron, Marshmallo - it was nice flying with you, it must be hard having to fly a Tier 0 Plane in Tier 3, but you seemed to give a good account of yourself and bagged a few Jerries, so good show!
It looks as if this campaign will be over soon (once we've won) so there'll likely be an intermission between this and the next campaign, during which you'll be able to fly a Spitfire Mk. IX, which should help you to rank up - plus it goes back to 1940 next campaign so the aircraft ballance between you and everyone else should be a bit easier.
I've added you to the Pilot user group so you should now be able to access our private forums and the like.
See you on thursday.

Re: Greetings From Springbok territory
Thank you very much for allowing me in the squadron
My tally for today/tonight was 2 109 E-4's and 1 190.
Great to be part of the squadron, and was great flying with experienced pilots like you guys.
See you all again on thursday then.

Re: Greetings From Springbok territory
good flying with you and glad you enjoyed it.
that's a good tally for a " green tag "
I think you will need to have rank 3 to be able to fly the spit I when the new campaign starts. This will be rather fast but not sure if you can do it before it starts. In any case in a hurri you can still be a good match against the 109 s.
Usually during intermissions we fly Rise of Flight. this is a very nice wwI flight sim but at the same time rather hard. You can download the demo with 2 free planes ( albatros DV and the SPAD XIII )
