Re: maybe getting a new pilot
Hello 19th. I've decided that I definately would like to join the squad, if you will have me that is?
However, I will have to leave 40comm and I'll only do that if you confirm that you want me (I have lots of respect for 40comm but I think they know that pretty much all I do in game is fly these days. Would like to give them notice and leave on good terms).
I have been playing the game for a little over 2 years and still consider that my main strength is with AAA guns.
I dipped in and out of flying from the beginning but without ever really understanding what I was doing (my stats tell the story!). A few campaigns back, I decided that I was going to stop being a wannabe pilot and dedicated myself to persisting and hopefully learning. I still do not pretend to be good but I do think that I have made decent progress. I feel that I am getting better all the time, being a regular TeamSpeak user and a team player helps. Above all, I have come to realise that I enjoy flying more than any other aspect of what I consider to be the best game out there.
Please let me know if there are any questions that you would like me to answer to help you make your decision.

Re: maybe getting a new pilot
hey Yozz. thanks for looking us up.
Well you can read all the stuff we do in the 'welcome to 19 Squadron' thread above this one. Fighter sweeps, bombing missions, RDP, CAS, basically anything involving RAF aircraft.
Squad nights are Tuesday and Sunday, but we do other things as and when required.
Bit quiet at the moment, Dezey has a broken joystick, I've been ill with flu (real-flu not man-flu) and Speedy is on holiday, so it's been MJDixon, Greg and Vienna holding the fort.
The only thing I really ask of my chaps is that we learn the simple section tactics described in the private section (which I have given you access to). once you have mastered that, we are on our way!
I should be on tomorrow night for squad night, about 8 or 8.30 PM GMT so hope to catch you then!

Re: maybe getting a new pilot
Thanks guys, I'm taking it from the replies that you'll have me then?
To let you know, I have informed 40Comm and they were all great with me about it. They understood that I get the most enjoyment from flying and I leave with their blessing and best wishes.
Really looking forward to getting to know and learn from you all.
I'm in game tonight if anyone is around to sign me up and set me on my way for what will be a new and exciting adventure with you guys.
