Live(ish) RDP Bombing Feed

RDP Run Video Feed

Bit of background Info:

Dezey and I took some P-40s to escort 5 or so Bombers from Lille to Essen, together with two other FAF Fighters.

Whilst around Brussels a 109 attacked one of the escorts just to the south, so Dezey and the two FAF blokes went after him, whilst I stayed with the Bombers.

Think Dezey and Co got into an extended dogfight with a few 109s over Brussels and then Dezey had to RTB to get some ammo, but his PC crashed - so it was just me left with the Bombers.

Whilst the Bombers were heading to target, I spotted a 109 to the south - went after him and chased him around for a bit - finding that I can't fly the P-40 and I don't like it Razz then got attacked by two more 109s and a 110, so decided to drag them off whilst the Bombers kept going - eventually though the two 109s and 110 decided to let me go and kept going - so I was left turning with the lone 109 again and eventually managed to outturn him and shoot him down at low alt.

Then flew south to cut across the Bomber flight path and rejoin with them (they'd bombed their target and were heading back further south) and just got back to 5k when they said they were under attack - so I flew to them with not much energy left and 100 rounds of ammo - then had a pop shot at the 109 on Sniper's tail (which is the bit in the video) - made him break off, then found I was under attack by three more 109s, so took them down to the deck and eventually got shot down in a low speed turn fight.

Moral of the story - Bring Spitfires. Razz

Although the idea that the whole WW2OL Hangar Forum is watching your every move in detail disturbs me somewhat. Laughing

It was good fun Mj. There were 2 9s hanging about the flight and we chased them low over Brussels where a 110 showed up. My PC crashed just after we chased the 110 (which crashed) and I RTBd to Brussels. Im not sure if you heard me get back on TS but after my crash I went for a mooch in the forums and found the feed. Turned it on and there you were. I could see you from the back of Snipers DB7 though I got the impression that you were higher than you were. It looks like you got the 09 to break off from Sniper but he got caught by 2 or 3 more when he tried to dive out. I hope he does more its a great idea.

Aye, I heard you come back on - tried texting you on TS after I got shot down but don't suppose you saw it.

By 5k I meant 5000 metres.

hello gents, sorry I missed it, didn;t get back from Cosford until late.

so let me get this straight - someone had an RDP run and was live streaming it for anyone to watch?

that makes nooooo sense.

started my PC build as well, so I may not get back on until 'Theatrical Thursday' Razz

I imagine they probably wanted to be intercepted for extra fun. Razz

And just as long as you don't miss Theatrical Thursday. Cool
