Speedy wanted to know how to set up a picture in your aircraft cockpit, like this:

Cockpit Picture SpitNote_zpscc57dd58

You need to make a .TGA file named 1.tga, and save it in Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\DashPics\Selected , there might already be a 1.tga in there, if so just move it into the DashPics\Templates folder (which also includes some pre-made ones, if you want to use one of them just copy it into the Selected folder and rename them 1.tga).

The size of mine is 471 pixels wide and 603 pixels tall, though you should be able to use smaller ones if you want, I'm not sure what the maximum size is.

I use Photoshop Elements to save as .TGA, I'm not sure what other programs can save as that format, or if other formats like .PNG or .JPEG etc will work, but you could try it out.

Just don't use a photograph of your wife or girlfriend, or you'll get shot down. Razz

Naa, I've just seen enough war films to know the score. Laughing

Likewise, never take your helmet off, never tell anyone you're going home soon, never have a lucky charm, or one day you'll forget it and get killed on that day, and never have 'a feeling' that you won't make it, or you won't.

But always carry either a cigarette case or a pocket bible (or both if you want to be careful) and put them in your breast pocket, regardless of how much actual body armour you may be wearing - even if you neither smoke, nor are religious. Razz
