new joystick
I am getting rather tired of using of my x52. allthough i like the number of buttons and sliders and the seperate throtthe, i really dislike more and more how the stick handles. The problem is the spring that is causing my plane the jump up and down a lot when trying to make minor adjustments. I allready modified the spring a bit and it is allready little better but I don t have the skills or materials to make the modifications as seen on many videos.
Any advice on a rather cheap joystick that i can use together with the throttle control of my x52? preferably with enough buttons?

I'll ask my Brother what Joystick he got, as he recently bought a cheap one to play Elite Dangerous.

The Star Citizen crowd seem to like the Thrustmaster T16000M, as it uses T.A.R.G.E.T software (like the Warthog) so you can program stuff into it.
No idea if the stick is actually any good.

This isn't cheap, but you can buy the Thrustmaster Warthog stick by itself (seeing as your throttle is ok) - and the Warthog is generally regarded as the top of the line stick at the moment (not that I'm biased of course )
There doesn't seem to be a Belgian Amazon, but here's a link to the French one:
Warthog Stick
(I presume that's the same as the UK one, but I can't read French. )
Or Germany, which seems to be cheaper, and less French:
Warthog Stick
Though personally I think the throttle is the best thing about the Warthog, flicking all those switches is like being a Death Star Gunner.

Re: new joystick
sadly it is rather expensive for me at this moment. thinking my x52 is not that old and was more or less the same price.
at this moment i have pieces of carton and plastic jammed under the spring to make it more stiff not ideal but will have to do for now

Re: new joystick
Well, my entire joystick centring system consists of rubber bands that the Postman uses to tie packages together, so such is life.
(Works surprisingly well.)

Re: new joystick
To be honest I just bought a pack of rubber bands, it's easier.

Here's one if you don't mind waiting for it to actually exist:
VKB Gladiator
Bit too German for my taste.
