The Lewis Thing & Calling International Rescue!

Had a few fun sorties with Hinkel last night on Syndicate after the WW2OL Squad Night - the last sortie was an interesting one too!
I did 'the Lewis thing' with my SE5 for the first time against a real Hun, and it seemed to work rather well!
The unfortunate random SE5 at the start of the video should have done the Lewis thing too you see, then he wouldn't have had to spray and pray then break off with a smoking engine! (Hinkel was the SE5 flying behind and above me.)
And then later that flight...
Hinkel and I were moving to check out a contact (we originally thought it was friendly, hence the leisurely head on
) but it turned out to be a sausage guzzler, which resulted in some twisting about which lead to an incident, and well...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
As if getting bounced twice, losing half a wing and crashing into a tree and being rewarded with only a light wounding the day before wasn't being a jammy enough git!
(Note: From a tactical point of view, I think Hinkel and I should have performed a defensive split after the Alb went head on - with Hinkel breaking left and myself breaking right, then when the Albatros went after one of us the other would reverse and get behind the Alb. Me bitch slapping him with my tail counts as a kill though, right? )
Also did I mention, Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

damn that plane looks bad.
only realised it was an enemy when he was very close and started firing on me. after that he wounded me before he crashed into mj
was a good night
think we both scored 3 kills and not died to enemy planes
I however got killed by flak in our first engagement
