Mik'di Boken in The Old Republic

Post  MJDixon on Sun May 06, 2012 8:36 am

So, as you may know - I used to play an MMORPG called Star Wars Galaxies, in which I had a character called Mik'di Boken.

Well now I play the other Star Wars MMO called The Old Republic (naff game, but everyone from Galaxies moved there, so what can you do!) - and again I have a character called Mik'di Boken, the only issue is they're the same person, but the games are set 3600 years apart from eachother!

Clearly this calls for some 80's style time travel shenanigans! Very Happy

I played this for quite a while (being a Star Wars fan I had to try it out). I have to say the story line and quests for the Imperial Agent were absolutely top notch writing, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Very cinematic, and the plot was well thought out. I even enjoyed the space combat stuff and crafting, but the end game grinding for raids got old very fast.

The clan/group I was recruited into (by the friend who wanted me to try SWTOR) self destructed later, and I stopped playing. I still get those 'come back to us, the Empire needs you' emails from SWTOR every month or so.
